If you're already misfiring, you need to get an actual clean, such as walnut blasting.

the spray stuff, will be good enough just to clear the misfiring, but will be back very soon.

yes. 16" is the minimum to clear on the 2.0T's 312mm brakes.

16" won't clear the VR6's 345mm brakes though.
