Plenty of folks have done this across the years. The one that comes to mind for me is 46_2.

Still trying to fix all my mistakes/issues with my RS build...
Still trying to finish these damn RS.
Need to do another coat of silicone to re-seal
Need to grind front caliper 1mm
Need to buy extended Spline lug bolts
Need to mount tires again
Looking good buddy! Did you go a 215/40 up front? It looks small.
Looks great man. Tire size looks spot on. Someone on IG was saying you should run a 35 series? Forget that noise. Looks good as is.
Don't think one exists with Baseball color and audi emblem. This is the only one in that color.
What are you looking to get for them? :)
Can you DM me a photo? I just saw them on ebay.
Nice work on this car Steve! Always top level workmanship.
No worries - I wish there were laws though.

To give you some idea, I believe that 6-8 years is possibly the legal limit (I think, speculative) and tire shops will not touch tires at 6 years old.
I had some issues with this and actually...
Are you bulking? Cuz your ass is looking fat.
Built to drive!! :) Occasionally :D
Oh lord! I was re-reading the first couple pages of this thread, and everyone was balls deep in "NO SPOILER!" And now we've come full circle - typical VW crowd :D
I've been to his house. We can go get them when he's not looking.
You could always pull a Zach and set the car on fire. That will cure the mold issue quickly.:peace: (waits for Zach to see this)
Don't forget to keep the doors open, or have air moving through the car. I know you want to save money, but maybe even renting a large flood fan might help.
Or a heater for the garage...
