They're not carbon, they're ceramic. PCCB. Porsche ceramic composite brakes. They also just introduced the cheaper premium brakes called PSCB. Porsche surface coated brakes.
Same, I never get an error, I only get this message after driving for about 5 mins. It says it is limited, not an error.
Hey Rehein, no hidden capabilities, but the refreshed 2020 passat SEL will have AFS for the first time since it was dropped from the B6. They offered it from 2006-2008 and now 12 years later!
I have a car bug. I'm on #26 @ 27. I am dying to get 1:1 for my age, but It may just slip away.
Don't remind Schnell, he'd get banned from bat FAST
What a pita to have to take everything apart. Considering I can't even get the coding, I guess I'm going to hold off on this one for a little.
I imagine most are in their 30s or 40s. I'm 27 so an outlier I guess.
Per the Golf R forum, it acts as you would expect- pull off the pedal and it re-starts (yet holds the brakes).
I owned a Mk7 SEL premium. It had pretty much everything that the 2.0t pkg3 had in 2006, so they're not all that bad anymore. Even had things which were pretty nice for the segment like ac seats,...
Yeah, but if you turn it off, it remembers for the next re-start. Not like it defaults to on.
No clue, but I am guessing the 03 brake module will need additional coding. I have requested the long coding from the Golf R (in that forum) as it is the same module and offers auto hold in the US....
Surprised to see AFS and real leather on the SEL given that they gave up on this model.
CP in 5 years!
All you have to do to see your odometer, is turn off the ACC. You have to press the I/O button on the steering wheel, and it will show in place of the MPH setting for the ACC. You don't need to long...
Can you please post an autoscan of your 03 abs module long code. I'd like to compare mine.
Packages were different for each trim. Only 2.0t had a PKG 3. 2.5 and TDI had pkg 1 and 2 and were both different. Most of the things in the 2.5 and TDI PKG 1/2 were standard on the 2.0t.
Since the switch clearly has nothing holding it in except for the 12 pin attachment, I am going to try a hand suction tool to see if it will pop right out...
Not all vag. My Arteon has a direct system with sensors and psi readouts.
Apparently they're a thing. They're called "Moonies" and you pump the pants up and down with air haha.
