I thought this may be some good info. Sorry if this has been posted already.
Keep in mind that there is still time for more updates from VW.

Leatherette? Interesting, there was no mention of this change from the stock cloth before. Shades of 1967 and my first VW, leatherette is back!

Glad I didn't wait for a 2006, no Bi-Xenons and the other good options REQUIRE leather!!

I am anxious to see the new colors in person, I have to wait till later this year to trade my Saturn in for my Beetle. I still can't make up mind if I want the convertible or the TDI.

Depends on how many miles a year you drive. If you drive less than 20,000/year I would encourage you to think about it more. If you drive more than 25,000 miles/year I would go with the TDI!
Then again you are in Florida, so the Convertible does sound like a great idea even if you drive over 30,000/year.

Who says you have to drive a lot of miles to own a TDI? I bought one because I favor its power delivery over a gasser engine. You know, instant torque!

Agreed! Typically those that drive a lot of miles benefit from the diesel more.
Think about it... A lot of miles/year at 30 mpg compared to close to 50 mpg. Fuel savings are amazing!
