fair point, those are way nicer than your run of the mill allen key...I likely would've worked to get it out as well

Very nice, very clean. Wish i could get a lip kit, no one will ship to me, or if they do it 400.00.

      Looks really good!

I always liked the cupra lip but it’s always a pain to get perfectly lined up so it would be nice to have a lip meant for the car

Were there ever any meant specifically for the MK4 R? Almost everyone I have seen looks like an afterthought.

I dont think so.... the Cupra R is a VAG product because Seat Cupra uses the same platform (I think...) so it mounts up very easily but it wasnt factory offered for the Golf

A few days ago I installed new brake rotors and Akebono Euro ceramic pads. The pads don't dust but the initial bite is really poor with these pads. I don't yet have many miles on them, I hope it gets better.
Would the person who took the step ladder yesterday please bring it back or further steps will be taken

Ran these on my stock caliper and rotor setup.. sad to say I had the same experience, and for me, the initial bite never got better. Really loved the no dust though.

I’m running a power stop pad on my Brembo’s now, and even though the caliper size obviously makes a big difference the bite is far superior than the Akebonos and again almost no dust

Pretty Easy, My friend and I put the car on the lift, took the front bumper off. We then put the bumper upside down to mark the holes from the bumper onto the splitter with a marker. From there we drilled the lip and used the hardware supplied. There were about 4 screws too few but I just put the oem speednut and screws for those areas. We placed the 2 side plastic underbody shield between the lip and bumper(need them for winter here).Once that was done it was just a matter of installing the bumper again.

Cool.. Thanks. That's what I thought I had to pull the bumper. Not the end of the world. I'm going to buy some clamps as well to hold the thing in place. Definitely putting the trays back in as well b/c winter, even though mine isn't driven in the winter anymore.

See how it goes this weekend if I get around to it.
