The ABF Adjustable alternator set up has been sought after by many individuals. With some fervent searching and development work, sourcing the parts for the 16v enthusiast just became a lot easier and now with lightened pulleys to really accentuate your engine bay.

What is the ABF alternator conversion?
As seen in the image above it is an adjustable serpentine belt set up that eliminates the need to use tensioners and positions the alternator low enough to clear ITB's (Individual throttle bodies) on an 8V,16V or even 20V set up!
We are currently working on 06A/06B applications as well using this amazing set up and now kits just became easier. We also have the means to source any serpentine set up from the ABA ac & the uber rare non-ac.

what wires go where? and what to do with remaining? oh and can i send this belt back for credit? 6pk894 at NAPA is over twice the size of the belt that is needed. they say it needs a 060355. Its on order. the 060345 was to small and the 060365 was to big. the 060365 was a hair larger than the 6pk923 that you sent me. hopefully the 060355 will show up today and work.

Chris you need to figure out your alternator excite wire. The 6PK894 belt is the belt you need.It is the belt I use on all my non-TDI set ups.

well after many trips to napa and other parts stores i've got a belt that works.
Issam you said 6 pk 894 was what i needed. which i figured to be 6 for the splines and 894mm you sent me a 923mm. i don't know what the conversion is but the closest i've found so far is the 060355 which fits about I'm a little over half way through my tension adjustment. the 060355 is a 918mm.

The 6PK894 belt is what you needed.I have no idea why you got the 923 belt since thats for the TDI set ups.
Hmm...so your good to go now?
