I haven't watched Trunbo, yet. I thought WBR was ok.

The new HBO series Perry Mason just came out. Matthew Rhys from The Americans stars, it does look promising.

      Watching Knight and Day atm.

Lots of boomers complaining about it as they were expecting the Perry Mason attorney they saw on TV in the 60's, not the young, less than honorable detective/lawyer from the 1930's books.

The Rhythm Section. Blake Lively looking ugly revenge-focused European based thriller. Slow. And almost obvious.
Atomic Blonde. Wife wanted to see a good action flick after the letdown of TRS.

That was kind of a slow burn. Like those mostly-single actor movies like Moon. It was like Captain Phillips, but without action or drama.

      Say Amen, Somebody

      https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086245/

early 80's documentary on Gospel Music (recently restored). I liked it a good bit even though I'm a true heathen. Yes I already liked gospel music but a bunch of family style info on the founding of Gospel music. Tons of belief and passion which I really enjoyed. I would have preferred more music but it made up 30-40% so it wasn't sparse on it. If you are a documentary fan you'll notice how the filmmaker was allowed what seemed to be real access to their lives. Props to them and the families.

re The Graduate...Anne or Katharine Ross are way out of my league. but I'd prefer Kat. I mostly love the directing/shots in it.

Agree, one of my favourites. Good strong performances and a great screenplay by William Friedkin.

The Gentlemen (2019) Guy Ritchie film, not well reviewd but it was ok for what it was. It was a to little to clever for it's own good, I could see why it put some critics off.

      Hamilton on Disney + (twice)

And now that I have Disney +, I plan to watch the Marvel movies. Should I watch them in release order or chronologically? My daughter says that there is a scene by scene order that some purists recommend.
