Have not checked the parts store but curious if and where to buy touch up paint for DBP. I apparently managed to already get a knick in the rear fender. It is small but deep and wanted to get it covered.

All VW dealers sell touch-up paint as do some online e-tailers.

I bought TR touch up from my local dealer. Think it was $19 OTD. It came with a clear coat pen as well.

They sell the touch up pens, as well as 4oz cans. Local dealer said $15 for pens and $25 for the can.

You might want to give these guys a try. I like the idea of not having a blob of touch up paint left behind and these Dr. Coior-chip guys appear to have a cure.
I have both the OE stuff and a kit from Dr. color-chip. Used it one time so far and in fact it did cover without leaving that telltale blob that I hate.

did some reading on the drcolorchip and some of the comments were a bit spotty so to speak. I ordered a kit from http://www.langka.com/ and along with the factory touchup paint seemed the way to go

I could not find it so I just searched online, and found it on here. Place I ordered from was able to look it up by the VIN

      http://www.paintchip.com gets rave reviews.
Langka is spotty at-best. The RIGHT way to do touch-up is to fill, wetsand, buff...but I understand people's hesitation over wetsanding.
