Put down your Busch lights for a moment and allow me to blow your minds.
I swapped out the standard lights for LEDs.

Thanks. It looked like a blacked out mirror. Nice mod. I watched your video.

Installed an o2 spacer and flashed to stock. Passed NJ inspection.

Got a p2015 code in VCDS a few times, but no CEL. Been watching DIY manifold replacement videos. Looks crappy.

This car a PZEV & under 150k miles? If so it should be covered under the longer emissions warranty.

I had read that some dealers would void warranty if tuned. I have a k04, so I assumed I’d be out of luck.

Never know unless you try, if Pzev the warranty is 15 years or 150k, VW hinted of this in the warranty extension, might ask around for a mod friendly dealer in your area.

I tried the PZEV warranty a little over a year ago on my Rabbit. My flex pipe had a leak so the entire cat would be replaced since it was all part of the same piece. The dealer started the entire process and to them it was the first time someone mentioned the warranty so it was a "new" process to them. Long story short, I was jerked around for I think 2-3 months to the end conclusion that in NJ the PZEV warranty extension only applied to cars 09+. Mine being an 08 I did not qualify even though car is a PZEV. Apparently the long wait was because the car would have been valid for warranty but kept getting denied due to being an 08. The dealer and VWOA had a case open for it.

Anyway new flex done at a shop. Barely lasted 10 months and now have the USP downpipe waiting to put on and wondering what spacers to get.

Interesting about the MY08 cutoff in NJ seeing that "The New Jersey legislature voted to adopt the California standards on January 12, 2004", but it looks like it did not require cars to meet the California Low Emission Vehicle Program standards till January 1, 2009........... "all passenger vehicles and light trucks dated 2009 or later must meet California Low Emission Vehicle Program standards"

So it appear drval85 should try the warranty if the mileage is below 150K

My car is a model year 09. Would that fall under this? I’ll ask around and see if I can find a friendly dealer. It’s only storing a soft code, no CEL yet. Comes back every so often after I clear it. So I assume I have to wait for that to trigger as well.

Don't clear the code when it comes back and in the meantime search for a mod friendly dealer. It looks to be a specific date Jan. 1 2009 & Not MY09 so if you car was built 12-31-08 it looks like it would not be covered under the 15/150, but I would go and get it in writing from the NJ department of vehicle emissions.

Here’s a link for the R8 ignition coil section at ecs
      https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-MK1_R...gine/Ignition/

You can get em for cheaper on other websites...I bought a set on rock auto with spark plugs for around $150 plus shipping

Changed the fogs to orange amber bulbs. The canbuss connector didn't work, so I'll have to figure that out.
