Finally got the body leaks to stop so i could put the interior back together.
20 minutes of letting the garden hose run wide-open on the roof...
Bone dry floors!
That meant I could put the interior back together. Starting with a new approach to insulation:
And then put the pressure-washed carpet back in after letting it drip-dry in the sun all day
And then just put all the trim pieces back in and re-greased the seat tracks and stuff, and it's all back together after 6 months of being almost-racecar interior.
I only did one layer of the bubblefoil.. after putting the carpet in though, I think I need either a second layer, or I definitely need to put down some fatigue mat ontop of it. I was originally planning on two layers of bubblefoil then fatigue mat, but after putting in the one layer of bubblefoil, i was concerned it may be TOO thick.. after putting the carpet and everything back together.. it's not thick ENOUGH.
Next up is to drop the sunroof assembly and fix it, and then redo the headliner.
