I was curious how many times my bike ended up on Google's Streetview, so I checked out where I park at work.. Four times, not bad.

Finally getting back on two wheels after 5(ish?) years without a bike. It needs a bit of deferred maintenance but overall it’s really clean. 35k Miles and was clearly loved by the owner before last who owned it most of its life.

When I first started considering buying it, I wanted to turn it into a tracker style bike, but the more I look at its funky 80's quirkiness, the more I want to just clean it up and keep it as stock looking as possible.

Also, it's so freaking light. I lifted it into the trailer myself and I'm by no means a strong guy.

Four filters later and it's still the world's worst photo of a motorcycle in front of a tree that isn't even a cherry blossom.

That's pretty cool, but I have to ask about those meters. They make motorcycles pay for parking? Never seen that before.

Yup, the meters in the top three photos are just for bikes. Parking at a regular meter is almost $20/for 8 hours. Those meters were like, $2 for the same amount of time.

They are four hour meters though. Sometimes we all get tickets for being there over the limit. If we get tickets ($25) two days in a row, we all start meeting out there at 11:00 to shuffle spots.

The bottom photo has one broken kiosk meter for a few spots, so it's free. There is a sign on the corner that says "four hour motorcycle parking" but there is no end sign. Some days there are 20+ bikes out there.

Here are the rest of them

Picked this up last fall, 2007 Victory Vegas, worked on it over the winter and started riding it this year, really liking it.
Always finding more things to buy for it and to do to it.

Still have my Can'o'tuna, but picked up a second bike today. 2000 Bandit 600 S, 21k miles. Other than a Vance & Hines full exhaust and rejet, and a corbin seat, it is bone stock. It needs a good carb cleaning/tuning still, and the tires, while still very full of tread, are 7 years old (was stored long term) so I plan on tossing some fresh rubber on it before doing any serious riding. So far though , the ride is definitely nicer than the katana which has 51k miles at this point (had 17k when I bought it years ago!) I had bought a set of upgraded bixenon projectors for my M5 that I may instead try to retrofit onto the bandit and toss in an HID system. The bike is definitely slower than the katana (8hp less from the factory) but I am hoping I can gain a good chunk of power back once the carbs are addressed, as I cant even give it more than 1/4 throttle before it starts to break up.

I was thinking I'd put this picture up here earlier but don't see it now, so voila, activity in the "Motorcycles" forum.
