Thread: Detailing for the lazy man...

    1. 06-08-2002 12:26 PM #1
Two years ago I frequented this forum, bought all the fancy products, spent oodles of time detailing my new Black Jetta, and now I am absolutely sick of doing it.
My question is, therefore, what products absolutely minimize the labor of minimally keeping your car up? What wax lasts the longest and takes the shortest time to apply? Do any of the "guaranteed to last one year" products really last one year?

I'd suggest a polymer sealant for longevity.. Klasse AIO and SG is an excellent choice.. it goes on easier and buffs off cleaner than anything else I've tried.. and it lasts longer than most other stuff.. looks awesome on black cars, too

Yes! Klasse is the lazy man's way of getting a great look. Better protection than any carnuba, great shine, easy to apply. Go for it.

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to speed around the city, keeping its speed over fifty, and if its speed dropped, the bus would explode! I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."
