I bought this car in winter 2002.

      F&F orange was popular

After that I repainted it again and put 2.9 VR6 syncro in

Then I sold engine to friend and shell to other man.
New owner repainted it again in met. grey but never coplete it.

I bought it back after 3 years and started again...

      Reason

It was black, blue, orange, dark red and grey
      Did some work...

In the background is my Lupo. I'm building it last two years.

It has one 24V V6 in front

      and second in the back

      It also has roll cage

      18'' wheels
Audi RS2 calipers and RS4 discs at rear

Cayenne 6 pot caliper and Mk5 R32 discs at front

Check my sig for build thread

Looks like you have a lot of hours to spend on that rallye. I`ve seen some pics of that Lupo of yours before so my guess this would be a pretty nice Rallye aswell. So what are the plans for the rallye except new color. Engine and drivetrain???

I spend just three day for removing paint. It's not that complicated. I will remove complete paint , inside, engine bay and under.
I'm planing R32 or touareg 3.2 engine and two G-laders with 6 speed and haldex. I think there is enough place over the gearbox for 2 G60
I already have 365mm Phaeton discs and CAyenne 6pot calipers for front. My frined will sell me his 18'' Superleggeras

The engine and drivetrain part sounds nice, but I`ll say 18 inch wheels on a mk 2 would be overkill. Its like the mk 1:

18'' are better for 6 speed because mk4 golf has bigger wheels than mk2. With smaller wheels I will have shorter gears and I can's fit 365mm brakes unde 17''
      Friends rallye on 18''
