I’m already planning for a v2. I just have to buy another vdo gauge to take apart.

      Gauge round v2.
Went to a buddies shop and got an old vdo head temp gauge for dirt cheap. Like super old glass face gauge. Took apart the green innovate gauge and .......

This time I’m pleased with how it looks. I also blacked out the back of the face so that the logo and the text don’t glow.

that wideband gauge looks much better than the way they come. They need to come up with something like that for cars with vdo gauges.

yea right like that'll happen maybe VW should have built the cars the way we would've wanted them.

A LOT of car manufacturers used VDO gauges, not just VW.

Sourced some new city light bulb holders with Bosch style plugs on the end.

Wired up the new city light bulb holders. And took her for about a half hour spin around town. To knock the cobwebs off.

i'm going to give it whirl, from what I'm reading it's fuses layer to layer better, and is more like abs for strength and durability. I've only used PLA so far and the prints come out well but it's brittle and doesn't take any deformation well. I'll use the petg for my fuel and brake line brackets that I'm replacing so it should be a good material for it. Cheers.
