Just went and picked her up. And although it was a short drive back to work, i am very impressed! Feels like it lost a little of the bottom end torque (not sure how i feel about that yet) but it freaking screams from about 3k to 7k rpm and pulls much harder on the top end than it ever used to. It did change the exhaust note some, but i have just come to the conclusion that no matter what you do to these cars, thy sound amazing!!!!

From what i have read, it takes a few miles before the UM tune fully adapts, so sounds like it will just continue to get better..... I don't have a Go Pro, but will post some sound bites as soon as i can!

Just installed DLI Teknik mounts and they are amazing. As a result of installing them, I get some super wicked transmission and or intake sounds.

Installed the euro dark cherry taillamps today. It really makes the rear end look better.

Got the PCV issue sorted, and headlights polished. It's back on the ground and ready for me to actually leave the house lol.

Took a curb avoiding collision in the snow, almost powered out of it but the old tread didn't have enough bite.

Upgraded to those aluminum TT control arms
Subframe was a pain to deal with. 'Only' 2 broken and drilled out bolts.. Replaced the whole set

Bilstien | H&R springs - insane deal on these. Would have coilover, probably will in the future but around $400 on sale I couldn't say no.
Doesn't have that trademark 'bounce' from cheaply lowered cars thankfully. Actually behaves more like what I've felt from a set of ST's on a GTI (Different weight though, I know)
Top mounts, hardware. This got rid of any steering noise. The crackle and pop is gone, buttery smooth now.
Aligned as close as possible, other parts still bent

Chewed up what little tread was left at 2% toe getting to work
Replaced TT knuckles, ball-joints, and tie rods
      Fitted Mich AS3+ 225/40ZR18

I tried in vain to throw anything else on there, I couldn't see going indys for 100 less overall, or any other uhp or track oriented tire, trading something like 30% wet traction for 5% dry.
Eventually bit the bullet, as I've never asked for more dry or wet grip than delivered from the michelins.

At this point there's little left in the suspension that hasn't been messed with.
Looking at replacing the steering rack, alignment is spot on but it's about 5-10% harder to turn in one direction from mid to full lock.
Not detrimental just slightly annoying when I push corners.

Tried Megs green ceramic wax stuff. Has been great, everything stays much cleaner. The hatch is where I can tell the most difference, wiping the window is about all that's needed most of the time.
A quick spray down doesn't leave tons of 'dust bubbles' like the other waxes I've tried.

+1 for all the parts really. Marked difference in handling etc.
I've got a couple roads here that I run and know quite well, 'rally calling' to myself with corners at MPH. This new setup easily pushes another 5mph in the same corners before chirp, good times.

Tried to install the MCT today and could not get it to stop leaking. Primed the factory one and put it back in. Also replaced both primary o2 sensors. And after realizing that there is supposed to be a spring loaded fitting in the oil filter cap, i bought a new plastic one and pulled these pieces out, Installed them in my aluminum cap with a new filter.
