What is there to get? There are people that need ice chests that can hold ice for a few days. Just because you don't need it doesn't mean there are people that don't.

Got tired of running out of power with my cordless leaf blower and decided to fix the problem.

You can buy some really nice laptops in the $700-900 range now, and the difference in quality and performance is night and day.
Advice on what to get for a 12 year old who's been bugging for a laptop for a couple years? Lots of YouTube surfing, and she says she wants to get into animating. Think Terrence and Phillip level animation. Nothing serious.

Rabbit isn't wrong, check FB Marketplace for used computers, they're a dime a dozen and you can usually find good stuff. There's a 2015 Macbook for sale local to me for $400.

      This place isn't bad either - https://www.macofalltrades.com/

Most of it is all refurbished, so it arrives in good shape.

Bringing a Yeti to the beach for a day is dumb, but when you go camping for 4 days, not having to worry about ice is really nice. There are many different types of coolers that are appropriate for different occasions. I have fabric sided coolers for day trips, I have big traditional Igloo type coolers and I have a couple RTIC coolers. I seem to use the fabric sided ones the most. I'll even put them on a rolling frame so I can wheel them around.

There's a time and a place for everything. I see guys with $700 Yeti/RTIC coolers tailgating at every game and it's really just a dick measuring contest because you're going to tailgate for what, 6 hours at the most? Bring your 20 year old Igloo like I do and you can keep more beer cold for the entire time you're talking to your bros about the next mod you're gonna get on your 'dozer

Yeah. If you need a cooler that can keep ice for 4 days at a football tailgate, you're drinking your beer wrong.

This (a very rusty steel lintel)

Today after fighting with the wrong tools

      Since a 4 1/2" angle grinder wasn't cutting it

      Plus a diamond blade

Next week I'll get several proposals (to choose from) for a pro to finish the job.

Weird, my Bushmaster looks a lot different. A sling may come in handy though, I hear you're not supposed to submerge them fully.

Basically not have half a brick wall fall off my house. This is the only lintel that has failed out of 17.

The steel lintel has to be replaced. The original one is 70 years old and is so rusted that it is making the brick heave. The old brick has to be removed (cut then pulverized with a 5 lb. sledge hammer).

Edit: this video is worth a wall of text

My house has concrete brick veneer that is a few times harder than red brick. The removal much more challenging than in the video. It's nuts.
