When you reconnect the flapper valve.
I didn't realize how much I missed the quiet noise below 4000 rpm.
Next, soften the V3s methinks.
That said, I've been running my V3's on full soft for two years and they're prefect for daily use, so that's something that I can't say is a bad idea.
hahahahaha crap is the right word for that
I know I am getting old because I purposely built my new rally car to showroom specs. That means I've kept things like aircon, mufflers, cats, carpet, roof lining and radio. The i-pod still works! I know this will make the car slower, but ...
I've done plenty of rallies in a car that is so noisy you can't talk, it is hot as a boiler room and rough as guts. Every rattle is heard loud and clearly. I've loved it, but time to move on to something more comfortable
*booking a private car to take us home because the taxi lineups will be horrendous and I don't want to have to deal with the great unwashed
*calling up the organiser asking "When is Booka Shade playing?" so I could book the car for the earliest time possible as I (and everyone else) don't want to have to stay until the party ends at 8am
pretty sad... That said I can still do a post 3am finish pretty easily these days, so I have something left to hang on to
oh and my ****ing pubes aren't grey either... holy ****.
