Final pieces came in last night for my 1/16 WPL C24 kit. So all in all, here's, the options I bought for it:

      Metal upgrade axles
      Metal axle/diff housings
      Metal driveshafts
      Metal servo and steering rod
      Aluminum steering knuckles
      Aluminum wheels
      Full bearings
2-speed transmission with larger motor and servo
10A ESC and FlySky GT3C receiver
      Custom decals from MCIracing.ca

Still would like oil dampers at some point. But, I finally got to drive it around last night around the living room and up/over the dogs' beds. Transmission works great and much quicker with the larger motor. Can't wait to get it out in the yard with some better weather, to run and take photos

I've started squirreling away parts for an Avante.

I've finally caved and my wallet will be crying

Scheming up a 1/24 Golf. I’ve got the model now deciding between a Mini Z, Mini Q, or a carbon fiber chassis one.

Mini Q are a knock off of the Kyosho Mini Z. Bodies and most all parts are interchangeable. The carbon fiber I’m looking at are these: http://www.rcatomic.com/atomic/index...index&cPath=47

Kit form isn’t that bad either. But research shows they often discontinue a line and stop supporting it as well. But they have FWD, AWD, and RWD.

Most all these can run the Mini Z bodies but they are limited on the VW bodies from Kyosho. Also, the 1/24 scale static models are around 65-68mm wide. Wheelbases are adjustable.

Thank you for all the info BW. These look pretty cool

Today I got the Avante body and cockpit finished up. The shape really is a work of art.
