I have some pics. 3.6L Porsche motor. Looked like it had most of the stock vr6 stuff in the bay (shifter cables / coolant tank / etc). I don't know any other specs though. In for info!

First time I've ever seen a swap like this. I saw a jetta at first and then I was like whaaaa

I wish I snapped a pic of the transmission side from the top. I remember it looking like a 02A, but the shift tower looked different, with vr6 cables.

if it is indeed the real deal 3.6L VR6 (10.6* V) that is in Touaregs, Cayennes, Q7s, Passat R36s, euro Phaetons, etc, then it is an FSI engine; so it'd be interesting to hear about the wiring and management in a mk3.

otherwise, it might just be a 3.2L VR6 with a 3.6L head/intake manifold - and i'm pretty certain this is a possible swap. also, the 3.6L head has much bigger ports when compared to a 3.2L head.
      welcome to the layer cake

I'm pretty sure it's just an R36, that said.. still impressive.. still

On a side note, that filter is horribly sized for that engine. The MAF should also be moved back..

Pretty sweet! I'd like to see the tranny and wiring too...

There was an engine like this on Ebay earlier this year. I wonder if it's the same one.

The "Porsche" motor is just a 3.6 VR6..... nothing special. As someone already mentioned, achieving that look is as simple as sticking a 3.6 head on a 3.2 bottom end and buying the Cayenne valve cover/intake/etc.

Yes it's a real 3.6 fsi and all, It's my freind Gab's car.

He's using a 02a trans ,so bolting it in is not all that hard , wirring is a diff story. The longest part was the immo defeat, the car sat ready for 2 months waiting on the ecu, at the begining of the summer only in europe were they able to remouve the immo.

I personaly drove the car to h20 from montreal while my buddy Gab sleept.
It's a real torque monster, you never need to down shift and will spin all 1st and 2nd

A set of cams, 3" back, and fixing the intake placement would make this a monster.
