Yeah, I went from a Southbend Stg2 to this clutch, so less of a jump getting used to it. The only thing that bugs me a little is reverse, I have to either ride the clutch or go faster than I should backing out of my driveway lol. So far this clutch seems quieter than the SB was.

Next up will likely be Aquamist when I feel like pulling my HEP intake. Pretty sure I can't get to the ports with it installed, but we'll see.

      :puts flame suit on:

I replaced a blown sub, added a protective grille, and installed a fire extinguisher against the sub box. Am I doing the fire extinguisher wrong?

Yeah reverse and 1st are that way for me. I have to ride the clutch or just rev it pretty high. What power is your car currently at? I recently bought a turbo kit, actually two kits, and returned both lol. I'll be ordering a custom kit in the next week or so.

Got car all fixed up and body shop did a great job with the minor damage.

Sold the car and moved over to an S6 though since I had been planning to do that a while now.

Shell is doing a mail in rebate on Rotella, I picked up two gallons for $15.99 at O Reilly’s after mail in rebate. Limit 2.

Nice looking car there. Where in Jersey is this? The background looks familiar. I am near Lakehurst.

Assuming 10% drivetrain loss, that's spot on for what VWoA advertises.

Just wondering... How did you pull that off? Was the bridge up or did you close off both lanes?

I’d say more like 20% isn’t crank hp 275 or something

ROW official figure is 275 crank, but VWOA official figure is 265 crank. US-spec also has a different engine code, CRZA, vs ROW - CDLF?

It was 256hp US, 270 ROW. The only real difference was that the US spec was tuned for 91 octane, the ROW was tuned for 93 (98RON).

NICE! What spring rates F/R did Ohlins go with for the R specific setup compared to the 70N/mm front 60N/mm rear Golf/GTI setup?

70 front / 80 rear! Which kinda makes sense since we are heavier in the rear than the fwd Gti.
Spoke to Ohlins USA months before I bought them. Rep mentioned correct part number for Golf Rs is VWSMT10, and NOT VWSMI10 (as listed on ECS).

They said they only recently brought some sets over to the US, after interest expressed at Wookies In the Woods, where they gave out one free set (lucky bastard! lol).

      This is the one..

      Cant wait to get them!
