Tint from the outside and replace every year.
With that size you can probably do them with the scraps from the shop garbage can.

I like this a lot. Not a big fan of the mk6 but on this they made the rear look a lot like the mk4. I'm diggin it

Rattle can? I love the car, but this feature just seems kind of...awkward.

I like and like it a lot. Can't wait to see the GTI and R. As is, I think the standard model looks more aggressive then any MKVI Golf (R and GTI included)

Our base model 2010 Tiguan has that electronic parking brake. Really not a fan so I hope the Golf won't get it. But given the price point of the base Tiguan with that standard feature and the possibility that VW may not want to have to manufacture a US specific console and parking brake for the US bound MKVII Golfs...we may be stuck with it. Guess we won't know until it hits the shores.

Beautiful

I love how the tail lights angle toward the front of the car viewed from the side, and the way the fuel door follows that angle. It's not mind numbing, but it's a very nice conservative look.

Very impressed.

I know that the pics are of a blinged out top of the line Golf, but IMO it could pass as a GTI with looks like that.

Looking forward to the GTI, though I am not impressed with the rumored 222 hp, as are many. 240-260 would be more like it stock. But a simple chip will fix that issue.

Can't wait to see it next year in person!

Good job VW!

More evolution than revolution....was hoping for something better....not an evolution of MK5 to MK6 to MK7....

What you people fail to realize is that the under chassis will be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. That is where the revolution is. Of course the exterior of the car is an evolution; they have been evolving the look of the car since the first generation.

Looks good, though the electronic parking brake would be a huge turnoff for me...

It's GREAT! They finally lost the blob look and it looks like a tighter more sophisticated IV.

Is this a front facing camera? wide angle?

I like the sharp angle in the C-pillar/Rear door section vs. the 'smoothed/straight' look of the MK5&6. Reminds me of the MK1 GTI (my first love)

Totally agree. The evolution as some like to call it is still striking in terms of fit and finish from the 6. Looks like a modern golf to me. Each generation seams to get a bit more sophisticated every time. I personally prefer this rear end when compared to the 6. Looking forward to the R and GTI as well!

Looks very nice, especially on the inside. Electronics look good and I like the console tilted towards the driver. But doesn't the front look a little 2001 Ford Focus-y?

Not 100% sold on it, but I have a feeling I'll like it more in person, so looking forward to that.

I can't help but see the seventh-generation Accord in the sweeping creases on the hood...how in both the MK7 and the Honda, they flow into the inner corners of the headlights.
