Interesting to see that Farrah One Take on the M3. About what I expected to be honest, not overly effusive but "smooth power" "light on it's feet", etc. The comments about it being like a momentum car but with some torque feel right to me.

Your Alpina is awesome. Little jelly, esp. in red. Is it Hellrot?

Thanks Yes it is Hellrot, which I always thought was a super cool name for a color until I learned it means "Light Red"

Mine was an "Individual" car with the lower sills painted matte black at the factory. I think what the original owner was going for was to make it look like a "little brother" to that famous B10 Bi-Turbo that Alpina used in those press pictures with the Concord

      Nice pic.

Makes the E46 look big in comparison. Also exaggerates the "puffiness" of the E46 styling vs. the crisp E36.

What a great colour combo. Total classic. Not perfect, but beautiful and low milage. Not quite what it takes to be a benchmark car but still should have some interesting bids.
      1998 m3, Technoviolet/anthrazit cloth, 114k and officially worthless.
      2000 323i touring, Titanium silver/grey, 163k and officially boring
      1989 m3, Alpineweiss/schwarz, 142k and officially old

Curious to see what it goes for.

I looked at the same color combo before I found my estoril. 113k miles but rust free, guy was asking 13k for it. Wasn't totally sold on the fern in person but that magma interior is hot.

All tucked away for the winter. Time to start getting ready for next season.

Expenses in F1 have gone down since the 1960s because teams don't need an extra pit crew to help the driver carry around his balls when he is not in the car.

Mine's already got rust so I'm not worried about putting it away for the winter. BTDT with my Miata and now I've got a different project occupying my 1-car garage. As a bonus, the seller included separately mounted snows.

First time posting in this thread, I already started a different thread on the car. I haven't gotten any quality pics because I'm still working through my initial list of fixes needed (cooling and PS hoses) while trying to get enough miles on it to set the emissions readiness so that I can get it fully registered.

The basics on it are: 1997 M3/4/5, 201,000 miles, Rebuilt title, and rust (mostly just surface though, no rot-thru). All things that would make people run for the hills. But I went through the car top to bottom and am confident there aren't any hidden treasures, unlike my last clean title car (Bugeye WRX). On the upside, those things all but killed its market value, which means I got a fun, usable car at a very decent price.

I don't assume that car being for sale for very long. If it is in said condition.

Yeah, no joke! The seller posted a great ad of what appears to be a very nice example. If I were in the market for another E36 I'd snap this one up in a heartbeat.

That is really confusing seeing my car parked in someone else's garage looks great and in good company. There aren't too many in Hellrot. Alpina has a signature shade of blue and green that went on many of the B3s.

Came across the black B3 that is running around north van at the car wash. Both of us were way to excited to see each other haha.
Also I picked up a set of AC Schnitzer cup mirrors over the holidays. I know most love the original m3 mirrors, but after watching the tuning scene of the late 90s and early 2000s I'm excited to toss these on for a while after I paint them.
