I've seen a lot of VWs and some other euros on base, and was thinking it would be nice to organize a GTG and get to know each other. Maybe we could do our own meets and from there cruise to shows, GTGs, or whatever is going on around the PNW. Please share any input you have on this

Mundo - I drive a white MK6 Gti, I'm on Lewis Main with 62nd Med Bde

Oh God, the disgustingly overweight Army Guy in that photo was in one of the units in my Brigade. Was a very bad day for his chain of command when this photo went viral. Taken in Ramadi in 2008 if I remember correctly.

I'm on Camp Murray as a full-timer (81st HBCT), silver MkIV Jetta with black grill, bumper fogs, amber side markers and stubby. No photo since it's nothing special. Owned it since I was on Title X active duty in the late 90's

We will always pick on other branches, that's what we do, even though we are One. No reason to get mad, or go off on each other.

Hopefully we get more people to "show up" and get something going. I know there's plenty of us driving euros around.

Don't mind at all. I'm trying to get the people from post to get together, get to know each other and what not. If anybody has any idea for a gtg, it can even be at the PX, please share. Im basically new to the area and don't know much besides base. I've noticed around here they meet in the middle of the week at odd hours, and its a bit of a hassle to make it out there because of work.

I say we should all hit up the bowling alley, get too drunk to drive, get the BOSS ride home, and leave a parking lot full of VW's to take awesome pictures of in the morning
