I agree, that looks awful. However, if you don't know about Sicilian pizza(it's square), you do not know your pizza.

That's Sicilian pizza, not real pizza. That's the same as comparing a handshake to a menudo handshake.

Sicilian pizza is not any more or less authentic than Neapolitan pizza.

Walked by Pizza Centro (the place I ate that made me post this thread) and there were two older ladies eating with knife and fork and I just wanted to yell " According to OT, you're doing it wrong !!!!"

It's big in France. The first time it happened to me I almost smacked the waiter. I ordered a pizza and it came out lookin' sooo good. Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a egg and before I could say 'NON" he broke it open and plopped it right onto the middle of my pizza. That night I learned the phrase, "Sans oeuf".

metal retainers should be issued so you can speed up the consumption...

Living in Germany I've had to deal with the nightmare of watching people eat normal pizza with forks and knives. When I first moved here 6 years ago I tried to blend in and do the same...It's the most rediculous thing ever to eat a thin crust pizza with fork and knife so I quit...It's really annoying when they bring a pizza to the table w/out slicing it. I just don't get it?

Also they eat french fries w/ forks...yup

Depending on the locale where I'm eating said pizza.

      Fingers -- informal

      Knife and fork -- formal

I haven't tried using chopsticks with pizza yet. I guess it would be good for picking the topings off individually.

No it doesn't.. If you can't get 100% off the meat off a wing while only using one hand even you aren't eating them right.

Haven't you guys ever heard of napkins, towelettes or washclothes to clean up after eating?

It depends.. at some place like papa ginos where I only eat cheese pizza, I'll pick it up. Someplace like Pepe's that has real pizza, I'll eat it with a fork because its so goddamn messy. Plus they cut it in these weird ass shapes which make it impossible to pick up and eat. Also having a face full of hair just makes it a messy proposition to eat greasy pizza by hand

Ok, for those of us not living in an area where Chicago style is readily available...

Lou Malnati's will ship frozen pizzas. Has anyone tried this service?

^ Not familiar with them or the service, but those pizzas look beautiful!

To answer the originally posted question:
Thin pizza by hand especially if foldable and fork for deep, Chicago-style pies. Luckily we have a Chicago-style place not far. Hella good.
