And we won! Such a awesome game, playoff pace for all three periods!

Every sport would be better if crap could be settled just like this!

Isn't it a national obligating to love Hockey being from Canada?

I don;t even watch hockey that much and don't really care about it but it's a step above handegg and baseball.

I got a chuckle out of how quickly the commentators because ESPN boxing commentators...nice smooth on-the-fly switch.

(didn't think the fight was very good though)

Same, I don't make a point of watching games (don't actually have TV) but will catch one at a friends place or bar now and then. I can get into watching hockey a lot easier than other sports.

Fight itself was crap, I love how it started, drop sticks, gloves and SETTLE.

      Just admit the Leafs suck.

I don't care much for it, but watch the highlights so I can talk about it with everybody else.

So they let them just fight it out? The couple games I've watched they're in there breaking it up real quick.

That was longer than all but one of the Bellator fights last week.

      probably my favorite sport.

the best part is that these guys might throw down, but they'll probably go out and drink with each other after. it's a really "buddy, buddy" sport. while you can be vicious to someone while playing, you're all friends after. i think that's a bit unique in the world of professional sports, where most are aloof and don't get on well with others.

      and my favorite...watching pavel dance.

Same here. Got a free ticket to go see our local team (Bluejackets) and it was awesome. I have no idea what the rules of hockey are or really which team was which and I was having a blast

IT's very simple, each team is attempting to get the small rubber disc down the ice to the other team's goal. You really don't need to know much more than that
