Cybertruck shape makes a better hypercar/racecar than a truck

Call me crazy but in my opinion I think if you were to box/square up the shape of the second generation Prius, it would look very similar to the Cybertruck. Granted you would need to take away the rear quarter window and lengthen the back for a bed.

PS: Also consider that both are radical departures from normal vehicles when introduced too.

I always cringe when people are nostalgic for the 40s, 50s, 60s.
I get appreciating the aesthetic of older cars, but wishing time had stopped in an era when millions of Americans were forced to live "separate and unequal", when interracial marriage was largely illegal, when women didn't have equal access to and protection in the workplace, and when gay people could be arrested for being gay, seems pretty lacking of empathy.

In a mere week, I've gone from thinking this thing is completely unfinished to truly liking it.

They likely aren't thinking about those issues, just the cheap gas, better manners, and pension plan.

Tesla is apparently releasing a small truck version too. This one was caught in the wild testing.

Hmm... I wonder how much it will cost... The original Cybertruck is way too big, this would fit my needs perfectly. Any news on when it will be shown /go for sale?

      The original seems massive.

Musk is actually already talking about reducing the size of the Cybertruck.

We can prob reduce width by an inch & maybe reduce length by 6+ inches without losing on utility or esthetics. Min height is below 75 inches when air suspension set to low. Will post exact number soon.

There is also a CyberRoadster coming too.

      And a Cybertruck Coupe too.

Full 1 ton 6 wheel version too.

I thought the whole front LED strip was the headlight, but it looks like there are brighter areas where normal headlights were supposed to be.

IIRC it is illegal to have the whole front be one headlight

Yes to this. Actually the cyber design language works really well with this type of vehicle. Kind of like a more angular but cleaner lined Lamborghini.
