Sheeet - my entire house was at a slight angle. Result of poor 1960's planning and building into the side of hill that is constantly eroding away. We learned after the fact that the front of our house was put on hydraulic stilts to help even it back out.

Luckily, that's a past Rabbit problem now.

now you only have to create problems for future Rabbit. Judging by your Census status and driveway, I'd say you checked that box.

good ol budget 1990's home construction.
One of the former racecar owners I worked for had a horrible home. Not one single door would open and/or close 90% of the time. It'd rain, all the doors would get stuck. Dry out, they'd get stuck the other way. After dealing with the appropriate parties, he finally had someone come out and check the foundation. Tapped a piece of rebar into the ground. Kept tapping. And tapping. And tapping. The entire rebar went into the ground. The house was basically built on silt.

Put new cabinets, countertop and backsplash in our laundry room. Put the old wall cabinets in the garage. Made one of the base cabinets into drawers on wheels for the shipping area in our garage. Broke up and tossed the other two base cabinets.

      Holy crap - IT WORKED.

Saw a FFX county tax letter on my USPS email this morning. Went to the tax portal, my assessment dropped 40k, back in line with the comps I cited
