Spent the day trying to finish a drain system for my sump pump to take water from the house discharge, under the walkway, and to a pop up emitter in the lawn.

Working in 90 degree temps with humidity, 3 trips to Lowe's buying more fittings and an incorrect one, and finally a power failure led me to abandon the project until next weekend.

On a positive note, I was able to go work on the shady side of the house to replace a downspout that the pup had torn apart trying to get to a chipmunk that had taken refuge there.

Spent $300~ and a Saturday (and about an hour Sunday) to avoid continual $125 HOA "violations." Pressure washed the two dirtiest sides of my home. This week or next weekend I'll wash the back of the house and the patios/concrete.

Rebuilt the column base on the front of our house. The wood at the bottom front was rotted, so I found some scrap to work with. After removing the rotted wood, I pieced together the scraps and used good wood plugs to act as anchor for wood filler. After gluing up the pieces, I used plastiwood filler to fill in the holes and cracks. Turned out MUCH better than I ever expected.

No, but perhaps on the driveway. then wait for Google Earth to update before cleaning the rest.

Got the avacado and mango tree planted, and finished one of the raised beds.

After much deliberation we decided to go artificial grass over the asphalt. I wanted to build a small deck but since we are coming in and out of the gate with our bikes every day it would have been in the way.

Just need a bigger umbrella and we are finally done (for now).

Project has been such a pain since we kept on finding dead pipes that didn't show up on the maps.

Just the other day I installed a paddle dimmer for my bathroom, so I don't get blasted in the morning at Oh-dark-early. Now the bulbs LED bulbs flicker, and the dimming is in the top 10% of the slider. I need to see if there is a pot I can dial to adjust it, and hope I don't need different bulbs.

Hung up our kayaks in the garage. Haven’t used them in many months. With the potential hurricane coming, we brought them in from the dock. Figured I might as well leave them in the garage but wanted them up off the floor.

Helped the stepdaughter move out this weekend. For all the stuff we hauled out, there's still a bunch of s**t left. Kids.

wife wants a hanging light thingie over the new island in the kitchen, i'm still working on... also had to move a few outlets. Also great to find 20amp service with 14 wire and mislabeled breakers, plus they ran the wires directly behind metal bracing for lower cabinets which a few screws nicked the sheathing.

Installed new kitchen faucets. This time I chose pot filler faucets, they look stylish.
