We have a ceiling fan and my GF will either have a sound maker on and/or headphones in with something making noise to drown out my "occasional" snoring.

I'm a light sleeper, but with the fans making noise, I was also concerned about my inability to hear so we created an ingenious solution. Our dog, a 195lb ornery great dane knows the alerts of our ring cameras. We have 2 of them and he's particularly keen on the one above the garage. When it alerts, it generally means someone is here to visit aka see him and he gets excited.

We turned the sound on to our iPads out in the living room near the door into the garage and if they alert in the middle of the night, we don't hear them, but he sure does and is up.

I have zero concerns about anyone breaking into our house. We have fencing surrounding the entire property, we have cameras, we never leave doors unlocked or windows open when we're gone or asleep and everyone knows about our ornery dog.

If anyone tried to break in through a door or a window, they'd have to get through/over the fence first and the ring alerts would wake him up and he'd wake us up if he sensed them outside.

We have guns, but they're for fun and not protection. I can open the safe in less than a minute if I need to. If it's more serious than that, I hope I go quickly.

With the size of my Sig 938 with the extra bullet extension, being as small as it is, I don't see any reason to add another round to the collection. 4 different rounds is enough

If I showed my wife a retro fan like that she'd want it. I'm not installing it. 18' ceiling on stairs? F that.

I'm old, so I remember when cheap beers like Schaefer Beer and Old Milwaukee actually got good marks for taste.

I'll give you excel - there are some wizards in excel that can do some really cool stuff, it's just something I'm not knowledgeable about.

Powerpoint and word, as far as setting type and designing. My. F**king. GOD. I just know unequivocally that a designer never touched the code of that program. Its instincts are total garbage. The spacing is abhorrent, and even some tools literally work opposite to how they work with Adobe.

I have to use powerpoint because I'm the only designer in the company. 99% of what I do has to remain unlocked for other people to edit (that's how design works, right?) and so, I am stuck.

It's pretty bad considering that I just can't quite break out of the ****tiness I feel when I open the program.

Don't really care how it's made. Trappist ales taste amazing and they're dead simple.

Yeah, PPT is frustrating to deal with because it's dumbed down a bunch.

As long as I don't have to deal with Publisher, I'm good.
