Plenty of people would pay money for your Pretorias. Personally I wish I’d bought my car with Pretorias and had them powder coated silver.

Jealous of the mountains! We don't get to enjoy that in Florida.

Also, these pics are a good illustration of why I don't personally care for black wheels.

Canceled Sirius XM - got tired of playing the call in for a better deal game. I don't listen to it that much anyhow and only kept it for the kids.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how the heck those wheels were oriented in your picture. Without the car in the background to use as reference I'm not sure I would have been able to at all.

Took my BrandSpankingNew 7.5 in with 300 miles on it to have them chase down a rattle that developed at 100 miles. Good news is I heard at the end of the day they believe they've found it. Also will see if they're able to enable the silly Performance Monitor. Was my first visit to my local service department, and it was really quite fun convincing them that despite my complaints I am not a crazy person. Or OCD. At all.

      Sorry no pics!

I let my free trial expire, then got the notice for the subscription prices and ignored it. About 3 months ago, tried XM and it works. So I have it and am not paying anything. If it stops in the future, oh well.

      1. Fixed EFX’s crappy wire connection. A word the wise when doing any car audio, always use ferrules with shrink wrap on the tip of your wire for compression screw fittings in your amp, distro blocks, etc. It's a lot more secure and just cleaner looking all around.

      2. Finally emptied my VMR catch can. There was a LOAWWWWT of crap in there...

      3. Received my KW V2's to replace the stock shocks and struts (non-DCC) that were paired to ED springs and have almost failed in 8k miles because they are not meant to be lowered. . The tires got "flammy" over bumps.

Ya, I'm not the only one who has had them sh|t the bed early. How are the roads near you?

I should add, I like the ED springs, but lowering on shocks and struts where you take them out of their efficiency operating zone and into an area of shaft-travel where they will bottom out over bad potholes will damage their integrity over time and eventually result in failure. The KWs are purpose built for a lowered stance, probably have shorter shafts, and I'm sure will ride much better.

Check out Adam Chandler's YouTube vid on going from VWR springs where the struts eventually failed so he switched to Bilsteins and how much better the ride quality got.

Glad yours held up though . DCCs might be better for such duties than the base model non-DCC shocks and struts, not sure.

Mine is still going strong for over 3 years. having an SD card with 100s of LPs on it makes it less necessary though.

Roads aren't that good plus I run 19's in winter. KW are super hit or miss. Some shops swear by them others hate them but it's generally accepted they have some of the worst customer service in the industry. It's on par with ECS if you are in on that joke.

I'm in NYC and have ED Springs...for about 24k and they seem ok. Of course I wonder now much of my 'ok' feeling is them slightly deteriorating over time and me getting used to it. I agree the stock shock/struts aren't designed for springs w/1" drop but the car doesn't seem to ride too bad.

Interested to hear your thoughts on KW. I've heard some issues from this forum a few years back about the springs binding and KW not owning up to that (similar to the recent MSS post). I also don't like that you can't easily adjust the dampers on those like the Bilstein B16's.

Agreed that the reviews on KW seem hit or miss.

Oil service, Haldex service, replaced rear O2 sensor, installed steel braided rear brake lines, and flushed the brake fluid. Just turned 12k miles after 35 months.

Mine is also still intact, 2016 purchased at the end of 2015. I even get traffic still. The only thing that i don't get is the station list.

I don't get the attempted cancellation signal anymore. Seems like they gave up on that a year or two ago. I used to get the subscription changed notification monthly at least.

This is one very stupid reason I'm reluctant to get rid of this car, because i get free sat radio. Nevermind that it's a negligible cost, FREE STUFF!!
