The only way the PFAFF ones could be uglier is if they were in comic sans.

Why not just build a roof attached to the current fence along the sides of your parking space? Can probably go to Home Depot Canada and give them the span and the height and they will have the trusses manufactured. Then pick a carpenter out of the phone book and have them come nail it all together for you and put the shingles on.

Porsche is very nice though. One day I will have a super nice car and drive it all the time like you are. I hate garage queens. All my cars are driven year round. Mainly because I am not rich and can only afford a few cars.

I would reconsider and still do something custom though. You don't want to be the guy on the block with a 911 and some cheap ass contraption uglifying his back yard area.

Orrrrrr, you COULD you know, go to a truss manufacturer and save yourself the headache of dealing with an idiot at Home Depot and then paying additional markup.

How was it starting this morning?

I haven't had my Cayman out in three weeks, so I decided I better take it out and get the fluids circulating, the battery charged up, etc. She sure was slow cranking. My garage was -16C - never seen it that cold inside my garage!

These are literally everywhere in Quebeico.
nobody parks anything nice under them.
roof can collapse if you get a dumping of snow, unless the snow is removed regularly...
in the GTA you might not have much of an issue - unless there is a bylaw preventing it.

you have to drill it into the pavement or wherever you install it.
if a stiff wind catches it, whatever it's covering is toast.
I parked my 911 under one for a few weeks in a pinch.... we got a heavy rain while I was away one weekend and I came home to a collapsed structure where my car would be had I not gone away.

      dodged a bullet.

Gave her a little mid-winter wash and wax. All shiny! For at least a day.
