Yep - we're all set for another event at Mt. Ascutney in September.
As we did in 2012, this event will be run and scored "rally style" with competitors counted off and released on the minute.
We got in a large number of runs last time during Saturday practice and Sunday race day and we anticipate more of the same this year.
As I recall, it was 10 to 12 runs each day. As much as anyone wanted!
We will run the full course again this year, but we're working on setting up a split time with a pull-out part way up the hill for anyone who does not wish to run the bumpy upper section to the top.
That way, scores to the split will reflect accurate level of competition to that point.
This is a perfect event for teams to come out and test cars/equipment or just have a little (ok, a LOT) of fun between events.
It's open to cars, motorcycles and sidecars.
Visit the Climb Ascutney website for details and registration info.
