Hi there, we're a new banner advertiser Dub Autowerks. We've been in business in the Seattle area since 2008, and been voted runner up out of over 500 shops in our local NBC affiliate's "Best of Western Washington" competition.
My name's Danny, I'm the owner. I'm a former US Army Sergeant, after I got out of the military I worked at a local VW dealership for a couple years. I decided I didn't really like the way the stealership operated, so I started my own shop, and the rest is history.
Besides having been an ASE Master Tech by the age of 21, I also have a degree in Computerized Manufacturing, AKA CNC machining.
Up for sale are rear wheel centering "great" plates. If you don't know what they do, here's a quick run down.
When you lower your MK2, MK3, or Corrado much more than about 1.5", the rear wheel begins to move forward in the wheel well due to the solid rear beam design, like this.
Our plates are CNC machined of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and will move the rear wheels rearward about 14 millimeters. They are 5/8" thick, so they will move the beam mounting points slightly lower, but if you're that low that it makes a difference, you probably already hit on everything anyways.
After install, which takes less than an hour with the included washers and bolts, this is what you end up with.
We normally charge $90 for these, but as we're new to advertising on here, we're doing a group buy. If we can sell 10 sets of these by the 14th of October, we will sell these for $75 shipped with all necessary hardened steel hardware. We will ship after ten sets are purchased. And, anybody who purchases by the 14th through the Vortex will get this deal. Click the link below to order.
