The quality should NOT be on par with Ferrari. It's a Chevrolet Corvette, which is historically junk. They're fast and that is about it. Looks are subjective -- for example, you have a face only a mother could love. That's subjective, and does not make it incorrect. The new Corvette is subjectively ugly as ****, and when everyone thinks so, it makes it objective. So in sum, you're wrong.
You seem pretty offended that a domestic mfg other than Ford is getting in the MR category.

I would say that's a crazy leap you just took, but with our current President, it seems to have rubbed off on others and now it is just par for the course.

Reports in that the “higher power” versions of the test mules are so powerful, they are bending the frames.

I'm not entirely sure how a comment about how the Corvette has ruined your childhood has anything to do with who the current President is? I applaud that attempt, though.

You should stop while you're ahead.

Not that you've ever been ahead, but for the sake of this thread. Just stop.

Can you describe what is "Ferrari quality"? like reliability? Do "Ferrari quality" are much better than its competitors within the same price range?

"That's awesome!!" is one way to look at it.

"We didn't go far enough with the FEA simulations to truly understand how this frame will perform under higher loads and we've cause a huge and expensive delay to our program" is another way to look at it.

Using Ferrari as a measure of quality is setting the bar pretty low. The new Corvette should easily be way above...

It's 'Murican, weld in some square tube to stiffen things up post-launch. I'm sure Jegs will have something tout suite!

      'Merica.

I'm legit excited to see this revealed. If for no other reason than I want base C7s to come down even further so I can consider buying one sooner than later.

Says the man who probably hasn't spent any seat time in a Ferrari or a Corvette.
Hmmm, wonder why he doesn't list any of his vehicle(s). Maybe he has a bus pass.

You have clearly never been in a Ferrari if you think it's the barometer for quality. Dashboards that look like 3 week old banana peels is 'normal' according to Ferrari.
