So, when was the exact date that John Davis went from wearing a sweater/sweater vest and sport coat to a Members Only jacket or windbreaker?

Looks like around 87 or 88 was when he would wear either, but around '90, he was full causal, baby.

      Also, I love watching these.

Anyone else floored at how the '87 Grand National only cost a grand more than the '87 Monte Carlo SS?

A little bird told me that John H. Davis survived solely on the blood of Dick Clark and a stash of misshapen animal crackers found in the old Packard factory's basement.
Now that Dick Clark has passed, he might finally start to age again.

how has this one not be posted yet?

Can anybody find a more egregious cost cutting/punishing customer for not buying an option example than what is at 4:37 to 4:52?
      Wow.

I love how positive they are- talking about how well the two are made.
Color me cynical, but I bet the manufacturers sent had built/caressed examples to Motorweek to test.
I had an 86 Mazda 323 hatchback.... SE 5 speed.
      0-60 in 10 seconds.
What "o-60 in 16 seconds is normal" manually tranny cars are they referring to? The even then dead and gone Chevette?

      Still.. 1:40 =
This is where Nintendo got Mario's voice sound.

      That chevette/1000 was dangerously slow.

Loved watching the review on the '83 Monte SS....those cars still look great.

      Nissan Pathfinder LE

Gone but not forgotten: '99 Camaro SS 6MT | '00 Mustang GT 5MT | and a bunch of Maximas and other cars...

I love this thread. Growing up in the 80's and now watching these vids just reminds me that the music from the 80's was about the only thing worth carrying forward. The cars, clothes and hairstyles are all but worthless outside some LOL's

      Blasphemy!

I would love to find one of these now (unmolested, fairly priced, no options whatsoever).

Try finding one, it's probably easier to get a Nissan GTI-R than a 323 GTX
