So, eiriksmil is on a Roadtrip from Norway to Italy currently and was passing through Germany.

So I met up with him and showed him around the Classic Remise Düsseldorf.

      Here's some pics.

      eiriksmil's car, Toyota Yaris Verso:

      My car, Audi A8 4.2:

Some cool stuff from inside the Classic Remise...

      Datsun 240Z:

      Mercedes SL73 AMG:

Old Mini Cooper and Triumphh TR6:

      Mercedes S-Class W116:

      Mercedes S-Class Coupe W140:

      Ferrari 328 GTS:

Detomaso Mangusta (And eiriksmil checking out the interior):

Lamborghini Islero, the interior was an absolute dream made out of leather:

      Some race-spec MG:

BMW 2000 Touring and eiriksmil checking it out:

Some old Tatra... definitely a survivor, this thing was rough.

Some beautiful Maserati with an even more beautiful interior:

      80ies porn, slantnose Porsche convertible:

      Martini Porsche:

Some tight fitment on this Abarth:

      Daihatsu Copen RHD:

      A one off coach built BMW based on a BMW 502 with a 3.2l V8 with 120hp:

      911 + Cobra shell:

Barnfind Beetle that was only 50% detailed:

Private owners store their cars in these glass boxes... Some expensive stuff in there.

      FWD Scooter

      Old Bikes from the 20ies:

This bike actually won the first ever race on the Nürburgring in 1927:

      Innocenti Mini + BMW 600:

A pair of black and white Porsche 930s:

A pair of E30 M3s, a convertible and a signed Roberto Ravaglia special edition:

      Old S-Class, some Oberklasse Porn:

A peek into one of the workshops lining the building, with yet another E30 M3 convertible:

      996 GT3 RS:

      Most Gangster Mercedes ever:

Ferrari 512M and some kind of VW concept:

      F40:

      Alpina Z8:

      Mercedes /8 and a VW T1:

      Old Citroen:

BMW 02 in the car park:

Keep in mind, most of the cars inside the Classic Remise are for sale - some with a very steep price tag, tho. But it's always worth a visit when you're in Düsseldorf and I'm glad I could show eiriksmil this little known gem of car culture here in Germany. His ear-to-ear grin definitely told me he enjoyed the detour!

Awesome photos. Never even heard of that museum before. I'll have to make sure I add it to the bucket list.

I had a poster of a white 930 like this on my bedroom wall when I was in 3rd grade.

      It's kind of both actually.

The Classic Remise itself is just the building - it offers up the space for lots of different companies working with classic cars - in the outer area you'll find lots of workshops specialising in various areas of restoration and in the inner area it's mostly just classic cars for sale by various sellers.

There's also one in Berlin. Have you been to that? Which one is better. Will be going to Germany next year, definitely checking this place out.

Ooooooh, the Copen was not there in May when I visited. Love that place, love to go sit in the cafe and watch.

There are private storage stalls, and as mentioned the open air storage, the Ducati dealer, the garages, and the sales area. There is also a big room where you can do corporate events and weddings and stuff.
