...I will be heading up the 15th early in the am if anyone is interested in joining or meeting up along the way. I know it's a day late but it's when I can go.

Would love to do this but driving a tdi on the tail of the Dragon wouldn't be very fun, looking for people that want to cruise to sowo, I'm in West Palm. I just got my car so feel free to pm me if there are any local meets/cruises

Yeah, for sure, I'll let you know. I haven't heard of any meets at all in this area. I will be heading to European Experience this year in Savannah GA. I will really miss SoWo though. I really liked going to Helen. Anyway, let me know if you hear of anything too. Thanks!

I'm leaving from Miami but plan on departing on the very early morning hours of the 13th in order to get there by Wednesday afternoon.

I've rallied all the FL people in past years and organized drives to WITW in past years (~4-8 cars each year) but can't be bothered with it this year.

If you wanna head up earlier, don't mind you tagging along.

I have 2 other friends from SFL going up. I don't know for sure but think they might be riding up with me as well.

I don't know anyone else coming from SFL but wouldn't be surprised if there is in fact others.

Considering the Torque of your TDI, you can downshift, hit the apexes, and pour on the torque out of the corner. Jackie Stewart always promoted smooth driving as fast driving and that approach to performance driving should make driving your TDI on the Dragon a memorable experience. Remember, driving the dragon is NOT a race but al unique experience. As a former TDI owner, I am certain you would have a great time on the Tail of the Dragon.

My last Dragon run was in a 2008 R32 and this year it'll be a `15 TR GTI. Driving the dragon is on every serious performance drivers Bucket List of must drives.
