I've heard that Elon himself will perform cunnilingus on your wife for missing the delivery date.

I see these cars once every two minutes while driving the roads here in Silicon Valley and surprisingly I'm not tired of seeing them. Sharp but inoffensive, good portions, not fussy, does the job. I'm even okay with the duckbill hood. The one thing I can't get over is thankfully an easily fixed detail should I ever buy a Model 3...the black hubcaps. Even if they end up looking like a food processor attachment, I think they look better painted silver. In either case, I'd love to see them do an updated design.
The hubcaps are designed to increase range so i have to think they won't ever get re-designed or will continue to have their ugly basic design unless they do more modeling and find another shape that works a little better. At least there are handsome alloys under those hubs, i would take them off if i get a 3.

They probably post in this thread too. Elon can't do that. He has to take a jet to work.

Yup they seem to be rotating production. Couple months for Europe, month or two for the US. Back and forth forever.

Ever since Jan 1, trucks full of Teslas rolling up 101 to SF ports all day every day. Guess they'll switch back to US market cars before end of Q1.

Imagine living outside homeless while working at Tesla. Going to work and have to work outside under a tent.

I mean i guess its great if you love being outside.

I know their range benefits I just would like to see something with either a little more style or at least a silver option.

I know where that is and it's a recent phenomenon...I think they started showing up there sometime late in the summer. Before that the only thing you saw there were car transporters waiting for their loads to be ready for pick up. Can you confirm those are actually Tesla employees and not just homeless that happen to be camped in front of the Tesla Engineering building?

And with GF3 temporarily shut down and Y production, I'm sure US orders are pushed until Feb-March for most vehicles.

The Y is getting a different Aero wheel that is a 19" wheel

There was a video posted a while back about someone who was living in front of Tesla. He and the people he talked to weren't Tesla workers. Likely very few if any of these people actually work at Tesla.

With Coronavirus causing much of China to be shut down (on top of the extended Chinese Lunar New Year), anything using Chinese parts will probably experience a disruption in the supply chain. I would imagine there are some Chinese parts in all Teslas (as well as most cars and other manufactured items).

It's the same thing happening right next to Tesla's South Lot Employee Parking lot......employees camp outside of the lot because Tesla won't allow it in their parking lot because spaces are limited......it isnt just the homeless.

Tesla employees living in their cars within the lot, and showering at the plant.......Pay those line workers more money Elon!

Funny enough I was on the ABC 7 website looking for something else and front and center was an article on the homeless situation in front of Tesla. Looks like Fremont cleared out the homeless camp earlier TODAY and will put boulders where those vehicles used to park.

This seems to come up everywhere (I was going to say "everywhere there are homeless people" but unless you're talking about Finland, there are some homeless people everywhere). Some places they redesign the benches so they can't be laid across,

Others they lock bank / library lobby doors so homeless can't use the space between the double doors to get out of the cold.

It's so ass-backwards. You don't solve homelessness by making it harder for them to sleep places. You actually try to solve the homelessness part.

There could be Tesla employees living there, but I haven't read anything about that.

It's a desirable spot if you live in your vehicle because Tesla doesn't complain about people parking there. Granted, Tesla probably doesn't complain because truckers going to/from Tesla also use it for parking, but at least some people can park there for a bit without getting hassled.

“Pretty much everywhere we go, you’ve got to move every 72 hours or it’s going to be an issue,” Dave, a homeless man from Fremont who didn’t wish to give his last name, said in an interview last week.

“This spot’s pretty industrial, where there’s not people complaining, that’s the main thing,” Dave said, explaining why he took up temporary residence along Kato Road about six months ago.

“It’s loud, but people don’t (expletive) with us,” he said as hundreds of cars whooshed by on the frontage road and adjacent Interstate 880. Dave, who said he’s almost 50, lives in an old, tan-colored RV, flanked by a few cars he is fixing to perhaps resell.

Haha, Tesla's so bad with US deliveries now. They should just update it to 4-12 weeks.

News report did say that people who work in the buildings across the street also parked their cars there and would no longer be allowed to park there. So technically some parkers could have been Tesla employees.

Modify it with an extra axle shaft, locking hubs, a slider and a set of BF Goodrich Krawler TA KX. Things could get dicey, you'll need some extra bags.

NJ now offers a $5000 rebate and no sales tax on EVs. Any reason I can't get a friend to buy one in NJ, pay him back and then register it in my state? I would get the $5000 savings and possibly a reduction in my own state sales tax (since it's a cheaper used car now).

      No?
