Thanks to member CaleDeRoo for posting this in the NASCAR thread...the NASCAR version of the next generation Camry.

      It's ugly.

i'm guessing it will definitely have that functional front splitter.

Close enough. Obviously it'll be a little more exaggerated to make it more aggressive looking and such, but it's definitely close enough.

      Current car for comparison:

Current NASCAR bodies aren't all the same with some decals laid over the top to make them look like them, they do have the bodylines in them, as noted by this 2014-spec Camry:

Compared to the current bodystyle Chevrolet SS

I imagine it will be identical. These are stock cars, after all.

Why would you even doubt this? The Camry has always been a V8 powered, rear-wheel drive coupe.

It's about the styling in this aspect.

      Toyota doesn't style...it produces shapes.

It's gotta be debuting soon, then. I like what I see so far.

If 15 years ago I said look at Nascar to glimpse the next generation Camry.... what would you have said?

Front end sort of looks like the render 2018 ROW market Camry. These have been floating around Toyota forums since May.

That looks nice. The NASCAR one looks awful.

If it turns out looking like the render, and they would put a good CVT in it, it would be a strong contender for our next major purchase.

It'll look like the NASCAR version.

Also, just realized with the placement of the badge and the way the bodywork is around it...kinda creates a psudo F1 nose for the FT-1/Supra to use.

Well if you want a CVT Camry, you could always go with the hybrid model, although I realize it would be neither as cheap as the 4-cyl nor as fast as the 6-cyl.
