selling my supercharged 95 jetta 2.0 5spd with 131k. $3700 OBO. was my daily for a few years. It has good AC. Lots of $ in performance parts, superchargers alone are going for $1500 used (not willing to separate from car). i would think even if you bought it for the supercharger you could easily sell the rest of the car for 2k or so. and thats why its price how it is. you could also find a nice body gti and swap everything over. although after all the work of keeping this alive i would hate to see it parted. might not look the best with the age the clear coat is cracking and was hit in the rear corner, but should be a pretty reliable commuter with many maintenance parts have been replaced. if the body was clean it would be easily $8k. no leaks or valve noise.
Possible trades for corrado, early bronco, mk1 Jetta coupe.

      Exterior
kombat rear bumper (fiberglass) no longer have sides or front.
golf front conversion (lights hood grill)
17" konig tantrum wheels (same as fast and furious jetta!)
      Piaa silicone wiper blades
Rear fogs wired into brake lights
      smoked tail lights
      Badgeless grill
      Hella ecode headlights

      suspension/brakes:
      sport springs
      kyb shocks
autotech hollow rear swaybar (rear axle w/ sway bar as well)
autotech upper and lower tie bars
      cross drilled front rotors
rear disk conversion w mk4 calipers painted red

      Engine: (ABA OBD1)
neuspeed supercharger with stock pulley ~5psi (can be upgraded! would need #32-#40 injectors, cpu, pulley ~$400)
      neuspeed supercharger CPU chip
      neuspeed plug wires
high perf cam (no proof of this but was told by previous owner)
      neuspeed SS cat back exhaust
      neuspeed short shifter
      neuspeed pflow cold air shield
      4 bar FPR

      Interior:
      basically stock tan, no rips/tears.
      heated tan cloth front seats
power windows (only drivers works now)
      cabriolet door lock button retrofit
Neuspeed Aluminum pedal set (solid, very nice)
custom gauge pod in cubby with boost and volt meters
      momo shift knob
      mk4 cabin air filter
      amp wiring
      Glove box retrofit
      Kenwood stereo
kicker subwoofer built into rear deck

      Recently replaced parts:
      steering rack and alignment
      ball joints
      bosch fuel pump
      battery
      starter
      plugs
      4 bar FPR
      fuel filter
      O2 sensor
all 3 motor mounts, also have autotech front poly mount but too much vibration for me.
      shifter bushings
      radiator
      fan
      2 new tires
brake fluid flush pentostien super dot4
      trans selector shaft seal
      Coolant flange and temp sensor

      Need/ could use:
      both rear window regulators bad
      steering column surround broken
driver rear quarter and bumper damage
      normal amount of door dings
hood and bumper are rattle canned black (i was waiting to find a black one in the pull a part) as rest of cars clear coat cracking and faded, typical for older arizona car.
      antenna doesn't move
larger front sway bar would help understeering.

You would have been disappointed like I was. So much more maintenance than it seemed it needed. But that has been taken care of now. As you can see with the list of parts.

He’s not lying the only thing worth money here is the the supercharger... probably worth more than the whole car.
