Here are the details:
2nd owner, purchased from a local Audi dealer in Vancouver in 1997
early build with tubular header
when I bought it it had 97,000 km on it, now 330,000 km
tornado red over black jacquard cloth with quattro script
interior it very well kept, I'd say a 8/10
body in good shape, no rust, paint faded a few dents, 5/10 (because of faded paint)
extensive service records
engine runs well, but I think the valve seals and lifters needs replacing
The car has been hardly used since 2014 and has been stored in a garage since then. I have been starting it every few months or so, but really haven't driven it.
I've done quite a bit of work to it, over the years, recent work:
- new shocks (Sachs/Boge)
- front CV boots
- front control arms, bushings and ball joints
- fuel pump
- 034 replica injectors (still have the Hitachis)
- lower door trims (which are NLA)
- new battery
I have full records and a binder full of receipts. Its 100% stock, the only modifications are e-code lights and G60 front brakes, which I did when I first bought it.
Some known issues;
- ABS light comes on, think its one of the wheel sensors
- diff lock button not engaging, think its a vacuum line
- aux radiator leaking, which I bypassed
- A/C is marginal
- replaced the odometer, in 2011, at 300,000 km because the gear broke, put about 20-30,000 on it since then
- front passenger door mid-level door trim is damaged
- cracked windshield
Again, the exterior paint is not pretty, faded red, with door dings, but the interior is very nice, I really like the cloth seats with the quattro script embossed in it. I don't think very many of the 90s got those seats. There are decent tires on it, Nokian WRG2, 195-55-15.
Looking for $1500. Note the pictures show the Audi Sport steering wheel, which is not included in the price. Willing to include that in the sale for extra.
