I just went to Tire Rack dot com and chose '93 Corrado and wheel and tire packages in 16" with 35mm offset. Tire Rack shows 24 tires in 205/45 R16 to fit Corrados with + 1 wheels, everything from snow tires to all season to ultimate summer performance to track only. The whole spectrum except all terrain.

I think it will be no problem finding tires to fit these wheels at this time.

Unfortunately, the Type 2110 Challenge rims are discontinued, which is why I have taken it upon myself to put the wheels in motion (pun intended).
I don't know who told you that. They shouldn't have to start up production again since they still make them:

They might have to pull some from production to drill the center bore and bolt patterns for Corrados,

The good part is it looks like they also have it in 4 bolt versions so Scirocco and G60 owners can get some also.

$310.00 a wheel sounds fair though. If I was in the market, I'd join you.

I don't see why MANN can't get you one set if you still can't get anybody else interested.

They could just have a set of 16" 2110 Challenge wheels put in the order the next time they order Speedline wheels.

Type 2110 have been discontinued. I have no idea why Speedline still lists the wheels on their website. I have contacted every speedline dealer on every continent and they all confirm that speedline no longer manufactures the 2110. I can assure I would not endeavour to create a group-buy, if it was not necessary.

      Good cause to bump for.

      Wonder if they'd make the SL3 Cesare F in a 4x100.
In a 15x8 or 16x8 would be nice.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body.
But rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn-out and loudly proclaiming: WOW! What a ride!!

Just had to give you the thumbs up on trying to get these out! I missed the first group buy years ago but managed to pick up mine from a fellow vortexer shortly after the wheels were shipped out...thank goodness he had an extra set! I didnt think twice as I feel the Speedline wheel has a timeless look and matches the rado perfectly. 16" is the perfect size IMO. Mine are rocking front and rear spacers.

VW knew what they where doing when they made this the flagship wheel for the corrado

Good luck to you guys and perhaps this photo will help get you the support you need

Once I get all my stuff moved up to Seattle (Early June), I'll consider going in on this.

16" RML Snowflakes were something I was considering to freshen up the 'rado, but the Speedlines are just so damn classic.

If you don't hear from me by July, drop me a PM to remind me.
