Got received a REI Kingdom 6 in the mail on Friday and set it up the first time on Sunday.

      https://www.rei.com/product/894016/r...kingdom-6-tent

26 minutes including the fly and garage, by myself.

      Some notes.

The Connect Zipper end is not color keyed, which will be important for initial placement of the tent. Have to search on the tent for the Connect Zipper print.
a 6'x8' tarp is a perfect fit for inside the garage.

Folding up the fly to fit into the bag partition is a PITA with a breeze. Folding up the tent body is also a PITA to fit into the bag.

Getting ready to go to Cape Henlopen, DE on Friday for some car camping with friends

Par for the course. I have a Coleman 4-person that I use an old Walmart tent (10-person) bag and it fits a ton better. My big Coleman WeatherMaster 10 cabin is a FPITA to pack up. Instant tents are better.

That's a cool tent. We're using this 9-person Ozark Trail (Walmart) instant tent and we love it. Built in screen room is great to store gear and acts like an "airlock" to help prevent bugs from making it into the main cabin. Lots of room for just 2 persons, but we use 2 air matress and make a big "playpen" of it. Great ventilation and a lot of bang for the buck.

I've wondered, does the screen portion have a floor, or is it open to the ground?

It's open, but we always use a tarp underneath.

Hi there, i am new to the camping scene i have decided that i am going to concur the great outdoors this year.
okay that is was a bold statement.. conquer car camping lol
i bought the coleman teyana lake and the ozark connectent 4 person for straight leg Canopy

      https://www.coleman.com/tenaya-lake-...elters#start=9
      https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Tra...nopy/481964097

I figured i would buy both and use both while car camping, also when going to the beach, use the 4 person for some privacy and storage..
Bought the tarps, for underlay for the tents, as well invested in about 12 bottles of
      https://www.walmart.com/ip/Silicone-...unces/52130847
which i plan to douce the rainfly and tents inside and out.. plus i bought seam sealer for both tents.

super excited.. as are the kids the wife is horrified but i told the family i am done with hotels and expenses, time to enjoy the outdoors.
Now i just have to acquire some cooking gear..

I just got a 2018 REI Kingdom 6 a few months ago. I've set it up but haven't gone out into the wilds yet. One thing that was a bummer is that the Garage vestibule for the 2019 doesn't fit with the 2018 tent. REI is restocking the 2018 Garages but they are backordered until June. Anyways, I'm pretty stoked on the tent itself. We have 2 kids plus two large dogs and it looks like plenty of room.

over the weekend i pitched my tent and waterproof it.. survived a wind storm and rain storm.. inside was bone dry..
so if you are asking if the Teyana Lake tent is worth it .. it is.
