On the other hand, maybe it is as simple as they move a lot of inventory there so they didn't need the promo (doubtful given the location).
This bigger dealers in Charlotte usually have even better discounts when end of year and/or new models arrive, so check there too. They dump these like they did the CC.
I say this with the utmost disappointment but there's no way the US market will get an Areton wagon unless it has a lift and is marketed as a CUV...and in hindsight review it kind of looks as though they've done that. I still suspect that VAG wouldn't want this to steal potential A6 Allroad sales. Damn shame...it's a great looking wagon, even with the lift and the black plastic cladding.

Good point, it does look Alltrack-ified....but I still like it.
It could be like the 4-cyl version of the A6 Allroad, the same way the Arteon is a 4-cyl version of the A7.
If this and the Levorg STi were both brought here it would be a tough choice (probably coming down to transmission specs)
