The classic layout looks so much better than the standard IMHO - thanks for posting the pics

Glad we're in agreement. Most people say they like to see as much information as possible, but I think it just looks much more elegant in classic form. A shame the 2020s are going to get the smaller 10" unit without that.

Once 2020s hit the lot - any input on whether the 2019s will be a better lease or buy option?

Deals already on 2019 and thinking they would only deepens once 2020s land
      I write/record music. It's here for free. https://oddsnnds.bandcamp.com

You're right, incentives are already there but bigger discounts will come when new model overlap happens. Your color and feature options may be limited where you are but yeah, the discounts will be bigger.

Yeah but while each dealer only has about 5, there are over 1k long sitting on cars.com. So they're definitely a bit backlogged relevant to how many they sell each month compared to how many Jettas they sell each month.

My husband is a CCO, and he said there might be a standing city ordinance which prevents auto manufacturers from advertising promotions like this due to a previous issue with deception. He says it happens a lot. He also said Ohio is one of the worst/hardest states when it comes to getting approvals for these types of promos- so interesting to see OH on the list.

On the other hand, maybe it is as simple as they move a lot of inventory there so they didn't need the promo (doubtful given the location).

Holy fek, local dealer has nineteen 2019 Arteons.

Discounts with each vary and the highest discount is $5,489 off sticker.

I bet by December they'll fire sale them like they do every year.

This bigger dealers in Charlotte usually have even better discounts when end of year and/or new models arrive, so check there too. They dump these like they did the CC.

I'm shocked- the shooting brake is real! Looks like an A6 Allroad.

They said China only, but we'll see..

I still can’t get onboard with that color. If they do bring this over, I might considering replacing my A6 with it.

I say this with the utmost disappointment but there's no way the US market will get an Areton wagon unless it has a lift and is marketed as a CUV...and in hindsight review it kind of looks as though they've done that. I still suspect that VAG wouldn't want this to steal potential A6 Allroad sales. Damn shame...it's a great looking wagon, even with the lift and the black plastic cladding.

Good point, it does look Alltrack-ified....but I still like it.

It could be like the 4-cyl version of the A6 Allroad, the same way the Arteon is a 4-cyl version of the A7.

If this and the Levorg STi were both brought here it would be a tough choice (probably coming down to transmission specs)
