Maaaan. There is about a 0% chance I'd ever trade that C7 for a TTS. I get it though, model girlfriend and you want to keep the good good.

Great car, I just think it's a bit of a downgrade. Lia tired of driving a manual?

perhaps this was answered, but do they not make it a tts w/ a manual? or was color more important than manual?

this coming from a dude who owns a dsg over a manual so im not hating.

      They do not, sadly.

Only A4s and A5 coupes come with three pedals now a days.

OP great pick up, I look forward to the progress on this one too!!

Most of us know his car history, and his girlfriend's (Lia) cars. He has a solid social media presence with his racing exploits (in Mexico )

i mean, the green is fantastic . looking forward to your thread in mid-summer when mia/you really want a convertible again and buy something else .
These are daily drivers for his girlfriend, the OP still has his built Viper and BMW 750 luxobarge.

Also, the Miata got totalled so they didn't really choose to sell that.

Wait until 'Kermit' is out of warranty, then HE'LL be the one with his fist up YOUR ass.

Just kidding, awesome TTS. I'm sure it will turn more than a few heads.

Yet another time where I'm considering trading my RS3 in for a TTRS...or just wrap the RS3 🤔

That color is tremendous on that car! Congrats on the scoop

I read the title...did you know the C7 isn't the only Corvette called a Stingray? But of course you assume everyone is chugging this guy's wang as much as you are.

I loved my Stage 2+ (MKII) Audi TTS for all of the reasons you posted.

It's no elite machine for the automotive purist. But it gets the job done, done in style, and done very, very quickly and with minimal hassle.

Also, I fit a child seat in back no problem, and my son used to ride back there. For adults? I agree, it's almost useless.

But it does have many uses.

Sorry, but I give this car 2 months max. You bought a car that YOU wanted, not what she wanted. She told you many times EXACTLY what she wanted, but you weren't having any of it. I'll be over here waiting for the next 'new car' thread.

You're a "regular"? Sorry you've been here so much longer but nobody knows who you are.

Now go be like this in real life and see how your weekend goes.

I've been reading and posting in this forum for over 18 years. My goal here is to learn and talk about cars, not to become "known" to you or anyone else.

If someone walked up to me at Cars and Coffee and started talking about some girl and car I had never heard of as if I had, I would be just as perplexed in real life as I am in this thread.

Dang, sorry to hear the C7 left - while they're certainly not without their flaws, I can honestly say my Z51 was probably the most fun car I've ever owned. I never found the steering to be an issue, and that's coming from a former owner of two different Caymans. Was moving from a manual to an auto a deciding factor for the SO?

Regardless, best of luck with the Audi - they're cool cars. (Shameless plug - I wrote up a press loaner review of one a while back here.)
