Glass shop succeeded without cracking the glass, thank jeebus. They complimented the quality of Vintage Rubber's seal, not realizing it was a reproduction, so that's cool.
Clicked the odometer over to 84,000 on the way home.
I'm going to take a stab at sanding and polishing the aluminum window trim and then reinstalling. Watched some videos on youtube about renewing chrome trim using wet sanding techniques. Going to give that a shot. Anyone ever done that? There's a fairly nasty part of the trim that could look a lot better.
Now that it's watertight, I suppose it's time to insure it and time to get it through state inspection. Going to sign up for Classic car plates. Can't believe I made. 1 year and 4 months. The car is NOT done, but it can definitely hit the road and see what else I can shake out.
Still need to swap out the 4 speed for a 5, for example.
