well it turns out that we may actually end up in a *NEW* 5 series BMW (are they out yet, the hire company are listing them!), but I'd rather the benz to be honest

Ibiza is the 'has been' party venue of Europe.
For the last 3 years, Ayia Napa in Cyprus has been numero uno ! Scandinavian central - mmmm lovely juvleys...
(But I am sure Ibiza will still be awesome)

We are only in Ibiza for 2 nights, I think the 28th and 29th, so we'll get to the last closing party at space by the looks. I'm not really into clubbing, but I think this is something that has to be experienced if you're in the area.
Apart from the fact I'm meeting a colleague there, my mate wanted to go there because Kevin and Perry did in their movie and he wants to "live it large" or some crap
And having driven a new E46 3 series all day today I think I may just retract my comments above It's pretty nice!

Why are you driving a 3 series ? Is the Mini in the shop again ?
Sounds worse than a Merc... hehe

not much point - and I love the mini too much anyway
It's not at the stage where I'm annoyed yet. There was another guy there this morning dropping off his S for a bunch of problems, and when the manager walked away he was asking me if my S was as bad as his has been... I noticed the plates on his car and it all made sense - his was the first (or maybe the second) Cooper S demo that the dealer had...
It is alleged that there is video footage of that car somewhere being thoroughly enjoyed and it is also alleged that I was involved. I didn't tell him of those allegations though

I can't come on Friday... but looking at the schedule it doesn't really matter
Something has come up at work....
My plan would be to get there early Saturday morning unless someone in Sydney want to cruise to up on Friday night
Anyway, would anyone want to cruise up on Saturday morning??

excellent, I will be cruisin' down on Saturday morning then... we should allow 3 hours right?
what about meeting at maccas in Liverpool on Hume Hwy.... which is situated on the Cnr of Hume Hwy and Atkinson St
basically, go down hume hwy... stay in the left lane as you get into Liverpool towards the big intersection of Hume Hwy, Macquarie St & Hoxton Park Rd... maccas is on the left just after a car dealership
meet there between 7:30am-8am?
if ppl have no idea... feel free to meet me in Ryde/West Ryde Maccas

Somewhat anti-socially I'll have my arse firmly planted on the couch watching the AFL Grand Final but will be up for anything from say 6pm.
To all the Sydney-folk coming down on Saturday, while I understand your desire to get home, Sunday is generally the day to be in town when the Show'n'Shine is on. I've not done the Saturday VW cruise thing before, so can't really give an idea as to what that'd be about, but it sounds like fun.

Don't be put off by the store's dodgy looks
