      Hello folks,

My family and I are moving to the Seattle area next summer. Wonder what the VW community is like up in that part of the world? Also I have been prospecting jobs and would like to know if any reputable European shops every likes and ones I should stay away from?

Just picked up this B5.5 wagon, and my wife owns a MKV Jetta 2.5

Mostly into the older water cooled. I've had a few mk1's and mk2's in my life.

      TIA

The VW community is huge here in the pnw. But unfortunately, VW vortex is dead lately. I really don't know if everyone changed forums, or is just using Facebook. Either way, welcome! There are lots of great people and great cars.
You should come down to the Pacific Waterlands show in the fall.

Welcome! Achtuning is the most well regarded shop in the area (in my opinion). Guys are cool and definitely know their stuff

Nice, thanks everyone. Yeah the tex has been dead since Facebook took over the internet. I have also posted in Death By VV for the Seattle folks.

I see that Autchtuning is like our Integrated Engineering her in SLC.

get ready to deal with hobos. look down before putting your foot down when getting out of your car in the city. Last time I was there I nearly impaled my foot on a needle.

I too just returned to the VWVortex world and found it pretty much dead. I also have since moved to NorCal and that section of the forum is absolutely dead... Zzzzzz
