Thanks! It's pretty loud compared to stock, so I'm still getting used to it. I'm still under 1,200 miles, so I don't really get on it, but I think it has been smoother, especially on the highway.

I started wrapping the chrome trim under my windows. Anyone who’s done this before have any tips? Especially for the spot right under the mirror.

Be careful.... when I removed tinted lamin-X on headlamp and tail light, that caused spider web cracks.

Where did you get the mirrors? Any special wiring or coding?

I wrote a detailed post on the installing and coding the mirrors in another thread sor Jetta VII.
I bought used mirrors from Mexico for ~200USD (both together) + shipping.

Looks great, I was hoping to see someone with the headlight overlay since they state that it cuts off half the led bar but yours looks like it doesn't which is exactly what i want. I had just ordered the amber delete but now I can order the full one

      @puregrey2020

      Thank you.

In hindsight, it may be easier to have the DRLs on while you apply. I tried to follow the edge of the assembly, which worked out for the most part. The pass side is slightly low on the inside of the light. But it's only noticeable looking straight down on it.

If you are going at a speed that causes you to run off the road before ESC can provide any assistance, you may not experience the benefits of ESC

Im much more focused on the fact that he covered the terrible freely spinning infotainment power/volume knob. Im waiting on my second order from badgeskins so I can cover that and the visor warning cards.

Ok. Now I see it. No more upside down and sideways power symbol on the volume knob when it turns. Nice.

$6 is a bit steep for a tiny sticker but I understand why. I just use the buttons my steering wheel.

Me too, but then a passenger touches it and messes it all up.

Dude, my shutdown procedure is parking brake, engine off and make sure the power icon is right side up. That dial drives me nuts. $6 when ordered with other stuff is well worth the money in my book.

Mucho thanks The center console is way too deep for convenient use. This will be terrific!

      Hood struts installed!
Simple 10 minute job with a couple common tools.
      No more flimsy prop!

Now this is a mod I never thought I'd need! Did you have to drill any hold for this?

Nope, no drilling. The mounts use existing fasteners. The lower mount is a T25 and the upper hood bolt is a 13mm. You'll need a 10mm and a 12mm open end to tighten the stud on to the lower bracket.
Literally took 10 minutes to install.
Honestly, these strut are strong enough to use only one. It does take a little muscle to close the hood now.
I'm sure they will loosen up with a little usage.
